A few weeks ago (April 7) I made a post over on Net54baseball with links to most of the hobby history posts I have made over there in the past couple of years, organized by subject matter. Although a lot of these are specifically sports/baseball card related, quite a few of them involve insert cards in general, especially the stuff about hobby pioneers, who tended to collect all kinds of cards, and early auctions from the 1940s, which were primarily for tobacco cards of all subjects.
